1. What did you do in 2008 that you’d never done before?
Traveled to both coasts--New England and Kalifournia.
2. Did you keep your New Years’ resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
Didn't make any, so yep.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
No.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
One of the founders of our church died, but no one too close, no.
5. What countries did you visit?
United States of America. New England ("That's, like, in America, right?")
6. What would you like to have in 2009 that you lacked in 2008?
A hobby.
7. What dates from 2008 will remain etched upon your memory?
10 February -- my daughter's first birthday.
17 September -- 3rd Anniversary!
01 October -- sold my White Elephant. Gave up being a car guy.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Learning to love my family and live a genuine life free of contempt.
9. What was your biggest failure?
Gaining 15 pounds. Mmm...food.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Yeah, various colds, flu, stomach stuff.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
Time with Denise.
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
My wife's.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
Every political and financial leader.
14. Where did most of your money go?
Mortgage, vacations, food...usual stuff.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
- Buying upgrades for the BMW. Selling the Camry. Wait, that was in August.
- Buying a motorcycle and going on rides with my Dad.

17. Compared to this time last year, are you: happier/sadder,thinner/heavier,richer/poorer?
much happier, heavier, richer.

Exercise. Played with my kids.

Family and in-laws.

LOL. No.

Uh..."Programming ActionScript 2.0" :-(

That current music sucks. That I'd actually PREFER listening to the Backstreet Boys than anything currently on popular radio.

an iPod Nano

a motorcycle.

Wall-E

Actually buying a dang motorcycle! (Provided I didn't crash & die)

business casual--Izod shirts and docker pants.

Prayer. My wife & kids.

Sarah Palin.

Friendships that, in hindsight, never existed.

Probably Tim or some of those very hardworking guys in CPD Firmware. Great guys, impossible mission.

Your attitude is your choice. You may choose joy or misery--rest assured no one cares which. They will celebrate and feel affirmed if you remain mired alongside them; they will throw stones should you espouse joy and optimism. Choose again: Choose not to care. Choose to change regardless. Find reward in each smile and each genuine moment of friendship, caring and love.
